The so called “from Oak to vineyard trees” experience will just go beyond our imagination and from the Italian border as well. In fact, traditionally connected with the French country (France Monferrat), an important and historically known wine barrels factory of Italy will accurately explore and describe the entire wooden barrels selection criteria. Experts will describe how to first select and chose the best Oakwood forests of France and how and where to find their superb wooden peculiarities. The whole process will guide you through a very old profession characterised by some specific skills aiming at creating the best product at all. Finding the perfect wood storage, knowing the entire toasting and assembling process will be fundamental in order to create the perfect wine barrel. Lunch will be served in a wooden surrounded gastronomic factory of the Canavese valley where the fruit of this ancient profession will give you the chance of tasting few barrels aged wines.
A light trekking experience all the way through ancient vineyards encircled by flowers and fruit trees examining the local green and sustainable food productions will be part of our last daily experience.
