Masino Castle was the sumptuous home of Valperga Counts (supposed to be descendant of Arduino d’Ivrea, King of Italy in 1002). Frescoed and sumptuously furnished halls, a refined display of seventeenth and eighteenth-century culture. The Castle dominates the vast plain of the Canavese from a hill in front of the suggestive moraine barrier of the Serra di Ivrea.  In the setting of the monumental Castle, an exciting and relaxing hot air balloon excursion that offers a breathtaking view and an absolutely unique feeling of freedom. With a climb of about 30 meters, the panoramic flight offers an incomparable view of the Morainic Amphitheater of Ivrea and the Canavese, dipped in the evocative colors of the foliage period.
