Park Tour in Soana Valley

Trekking with a guide from the Gran Paradiso National Park, from the Soana Valley to the Champorcher Valley, along the stages of the Giroparco path.

The itinerary crosses a great variety of environments: woods
majestic, splendid alpine villages, the Sanctuary of San Besso at an altitude of 2,019 m, pastures and high mountain passes, to then end at the former royal hunting lodge of Dondena in Valle d’Aosta.

Day 1

Ronco Canavese, San Besso, Rifugio Bausano: passing through woods of beech and fir trees and splendid alpine villages such as Nivolastro and Andorina, you reach Campiglia and finally the sanctuary of San Besso, at an altitude of 2,019 m and the nearby Bausano refuge.

Day 2

Rifugio Bausano, Piamprato: from San Besso in a typical high mountain environment you reach Colle della Borra 2,578m, from which descending on the other side you reach Piamprato passing numerous pastures. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3

Piamprato, Col Larissa, Dondena: from Piamprato you reach the arrival point of the chairlift at Alpe Ciavanassa, then the grange la Reale and the valley of the same name up to Colle Larissa. You can then descend along the royal mule track to the former hunting lodge, today the Dondena refuge in Val d’Aosta.

Rates include:

Overnight stay with self-catering at the Bausano refuge (it will be necessary to carry the necessary food in the backpack); half board at a 3-star hotel in Piamprato; transfer by car Piamprato – Ronco or Champorcher – Ronco; 3 packed lunches.
